A NORTHERN PERSPECTIVE EXHIBITION - added 30/5/14

The 60 page catalogue for our next exhibition is now at the printers and will posted out to clients on our mailing list early next week.

Instead of our usual gallery opening we will be holding a special weekend preview of the exhibition in the Chairman’s Club at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester between Saturday 14^th – Monday 16^th June. You can come along anytime between 10am and 5 pm.

This will be one of the largest exhibitions of Northern Art ever held in Manchester and will feature 8 major oils and drawings by L.S. Lowry and over 80 works by other northern school artists. These include:

Helen Bradley, Adolphe Valette, Theodore Major, Alan Lowndes, Braaq, Peter Brook, Harold Riley, Geoffrey Key, John Thompson, Harry Rutherford, Fred Yates, Sheila Fell, Geoffrey Birks, Trevor Grimshaw, Bob Richardson, Simeon Stafford, Liam Spencer, Reg Gardner, Ben Kelly, Phil George, Stephen Campbell and many others.

A number of rare Ben Kelly paintings will be for sale at the open weekend, these were produced when he was artist in residence at Manchester City FC during the 2007/2008 season.

Free parking is available at the Etihad and you can book a tour of the Stadium at the special price of £5.

The exhibition will move to our Hale gallery from Tuesday 16^th June and will continue to 31^st July.

Liam Spencer, Ben Kelly, Reg Gardner, Stephen Campbell and Phil George will present at the Etihad at various times during the weekend so pop along and meet them Please contact the gallery if you are not on our mailing list  and would like to receive a copy of the exhibition catalogue.
